Why the Stigma?

For some time now I’ve been coming to grips with the fact I draw pinups. As some of you know I struggle with the concept of being a female who draws females—I enjoy drawing women as its fun but I get frowned upon by others. In the past I used to try and hide the fact I drew pinups, like let’s say high school when I wasn’t really drawing all that well and coming into my own. To the present where some think I’m just perverted and doing it for some strange reason sexually. I cannot tell you how many prudish women I have come across lately! I don’t “get off” on drawing pinups. In fact you’ll see most of them reflect my sense of fun and humor and are only curvaceous. But I’ve decided to STOP being ashamed. Hell, I’ll admit it—I’m a pinup artist & I’m coming out. RAWRRRR!!! Expect more to come.
